dsg gearbox oil change. I have 2011 tiguan with 2L tdi engine and 7speed DSG AT gearbox the gearbox is DQ500 0BH, and I want to change the gearbox fluid, with 175,000 miles on it. 1- I will change the gearbox oil and the hydraulic oil. 2- I will change the external oil filter.Once you're done with this, put a new crush washer on your oil drain plug and screw it back in with your T40 bit, taking care not to over-tighten it (20-25lb/ft torque). Go back up top and fill the engine with around 5.5 quarts of oil, (Fill marked in blue on the pic above) and check using your dipstick when you're full.
Not sure on this vehicle but if you type in YouTube VW DSG oil change you will get a feel of the process and know if you feel comfortable enough or not. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Deleted member 103408
Maintenance. I have a 2017 gti and did my dsg oil and filter today using the measure and top fill method and the car drained 5.7 liters out! Not sure if thats a normal amount or if it was overfilled previously. I read it should drain between 4.5-4.7 liters. I ended up filling it back up with about 5.2 liters because I saw the dsg capacity is 5. Those DQ200 transmissions are tiny. The mechatronic unit uses a hydraulic fluid like a power steering fluid. I think the VW part number is G 004 000 M2. It's a Pentosin CHF 202 type of product and only takes about a liter. The gearbox uses gear oil. VW G 055 512 A2 which is a 75W-80 GL4 product. I think it takes about 2 liters. The service department appears to be lumping the DSG mechatronics fluid change in with the Major Maintenance interval at 60,000 km or 4 years. As noted, the 2020 version of the Audi Canada's service intervals document specifies a 60,000 km replacement interval for the mechatronics fluid with no time limit.

The simple rule tends to be 2009 onwards is 5 years. Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion
