Kashyyyk was a beautiful forest full of Wookies and their traditions. Manaan was a pristine world with shark infested waters below. Korriban was a desolate landscape that held ancient secrets. Each of these worlds were memorable. However, KOTOR 2 did not provide the same nostalgia and memorability. KOTOR 2 had a much deeper storyline.
Not beat Knights of the Old Republic II (a.k.a Kotor 2), but to beat Kotor 2 with the cut content mods installed. Unlike my replay of Kotor 1 on the Switch, this I picked up on Steam and thank god because I cannot install mods to save my life, so big thank you to the Steam Workshop that has the cut content mod and cut planet mod that I
Kindred Fates is an open world monster battling RPG, and a love letter to the monster battle genre. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords on the Nintendo Switch was supposed
Kreia as a character isn’t supposed to make sense. None of KOTOR 2 is. The game makes a point to deconstruct the rules of nature and reality that exist in Star Wars to make you the player ask questions and debate. Without Necessarily giving the player all the answers. Skyrim is different- Skyrim is jank as shit even without any mods or fan content, because Skyrim is held together with spit and prayers, even by the standards of better open-world systemic games like Breath of the Wild. It does not allow a bash option. It does not allow a mine option. When using security and the most advanced tunnelers it says impossible, which does not mean skill too low.
It's not open world by normal definitions thereof, no. You're often in large spaces, but the game is actually comprised of dozens of modules, and each module is like a level which is just designed to give the appearance of being wide-open, not actually properly wide-open.
KOTOR 2 lives in the uncomfortable middle ground. One major character, Kreia, is a neutral Jedi, neither dark side nor light, who will criticise you for kindness or cruelty alike. In a way, her WjWE7.
